Empowering Women Through Henna and Decoration Skills Training

The Nilotics Rights Organization (NRO) conducts monthly review and practical training sessions in Henna and Decoration at its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Centre. The program is designed to equip women and young people with practical, marketable skills that promote self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.
Through hands-on training, participants develop professional techniques in henna application, decorative artistry, and customer service, enabling them to build confidence and improve the quality of their work. The monthly review sessions also provide an opportunity to assess progress, strengthen practical skills, and encourage peer learning in a supportive environment.
By investing in vocational education and creative entrepreneurship, NRO empowers vulnerable women and youth to access sustainable livelihood opportunities, generate income, and improve their quality of life. The training also promotes cultural heritage while encouraging innovation, creativity, and small business development within local communities.
As part of its commitment to inclusive development, Nilotics Rights Organization (NRO) continues to expand access to quality vocational education that equips marginalized and underserved communities with the skills needed to become economically independent, resilient, and active contributors to sustainable community development.
