#NRO and SVMC Joint field visit Agriculture remains one of the primary sources of livelihood for communities in Baidoa and the surrounding areas. However, prolonged drought conditions have severely affected farming activities, resulting in poor harvests, reduced food security, and increased vulnerability among farming households. In order to understand the current situation and determine the level of support required, a field visit was conducted to farms located within Baidoa town.
The main objective of the visit was to observe and assess the effects of the ongoing drought on agricultural production and to gain firsthand information on the challenges farmers are currently facing. This assessment aimed to provide accurate and updated data that will guide future interventions and support programs
